ABOUT ME
I first came into this world in November 28, 1999. My parents gave me the name Maribel, since then, I've been given life. I was raised in a small town named Lindsay and well I'm still living here so nothing has really changed. I’m the oldest out of 8 girls so I get really busy. I don't have a job like most people in my age do but I do work in fields. I come from a really hard working family. I learned to be a hard worker as well during the years. I work with my parents every weekend and the days there isn't school. I first stepped there when I was a toddler, maybe at age 2. I take the opportunity to work with them any day I can because I know my parents can give me everything I want. I work for my things, nothing is free for me. My parents have taught me many things. They tell me to take advantage of the education I’m receiving. They tell me that I am lucky to have a free education. They encourage me to work hard in school so I can get a job in the future that doesn’t have to do anything with the fields. Frankly, I’m still determined to work in the fields. I don’t want to forget who I was and by that I mean a hard working person. I'm positive, very positive that I will be someone great in the future that helps many because I work hard. I'm always trying my very best to make my parents proud. Being the oldest is not easy. I go to school and when I come back from school, I have many responsiblities I can't skip and not only that but I have homework too.
As I said earlier, I work in the fields with my parents every day I can when there is no school. What's so hard about this is that right after work I have to do homework but then there are times where I can’t because I'm so tired. I still do the best I can because I want to do the best out of the best in the future . It’s actually a good way to prepare myself when I get into college and have a job at the same time. Since I’m the oldest, my parents expect so much from me. I have to be a role model to all my sisters. I don’t want them to follow wrong paths, but to make sure they do their best and learn from my own mistakes. I’m very grateful that God gave me the best parents. They are always so supporative and encourage me a lot, I love that. It's not just my parents but my friends and teachers as well. They support me, encourage me not to give up and I am so thankful for that. My surroundings have shaped who I am right now. I can't forget, I'm always in a good mood, I'm always there for people, and most of all, nothing stops me from trying.
