Soccer has been part of my life since my Junior year. This sport became really important to me and I am very grateful that a beautiful sport exists. Once I step the field, my mind clears from all the bad moments I go through. I'm able to think clearly and be able to show smile while I'm there. My passion for soccer is huge. I love it because once we make it to the team, you begin to get close with mostly everyone. We start as a team and leave as a family. I'm currently in soccer and so far it's going good. I wasn't going to join because of academic situations. I did not want to risk my classes because it's my last year in high school. I went back in forth with this thought, should I join or not. At the end, I decided yes. I love this sport and I want to play it as long as I could.

As a senior, I am currently taking a nurse assistant training program or also known as a CNA program. I hope to learn new skills and help others. This class is part of my career pathway; I'm so excited what this program will bring me in the future. I know it will be challenging because like a nurse, we will be full of responsibilities on residents. I've heard they are difficult to take care of and most of all, we have to be prepared for the worse. Our teacher, Mrs. Soto explained to us that there sometimes could be death, when a resident dies on us. It's a little scary but it's reality. I'm still determined to go through all the experiences I'm going to learn in order to get where I want to be, that is to reach and become a Nurse Practitioner.
